Returns & Exchanges Policy

Thank you for shopping with Kendall's Vintage. We hope you love your handmade clothing and vintage items. We do our very best to describe all items, especially vintage pieces, as accurately and honestly as possible. Because of the nature of our business, we operate a policy of exchanges rather than returns. And there has to expected levels of wear and tear. 

 

 

Vintage Items

Vintage items are non-returnable unless significantly not as described.

 

Own Collection Items

As a small business, we currently offer exchange only on our own collection. 

  • We do not offer standard returns for refund. Instead, we offer exchanges only.
  • The sole exception is if an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or significantly not as described, in which case we will offer a refund or replacement.

 

Vintage Items — Final Sale

Because vintage items are unique and often one-of-a-kind, all vintage sales are final. We are unable to offer exchanges or refunds on vintage pieces, except in cases where the item is truly “significantly not as described.” We take great care to give detailed descriptions and clear photos, so that you know as much as possible before purchasing.

 

Our Own Collection

If you purchase from our own (non-vintage) collection, we are happy to offer an exchange under the following conditions:

  • Contact us within 14 days of receiving your item to request an exchange.
  • The item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and must be resalable.
  • You must provide your order number and proof of purchase.

Why We Use This Policy

As a small business working with vintage items and small-batch pieces, allowing full refunds and returns would be financially and logistically challenging, and potentially unsustainable. We believe this exchange-only model helps us keep offering unique, carefully selected items, while still giving our customers the flexibility to exchange sizes or address genuine issues.
