Antique Peasant Blouse with Embroidery & Crochet Lace | Circa 1880-1910

A rare and beautifully preserved antique peasant blouse in a lovely cream handwoven linen. There has been hours of skilled work gone into the crafting of this piece, with hand embroidery upon the front, some wonderful smocking, and pretty lace trim detail on the sleeves and hem. Slightly cropped and very flattering, the shirt remains entirely wearable today despite its significant age – a stellar find for the cottagecore, Folk Revival enthusiast, or simply for those who appreciate the quality of handmade historical garments.

Length: 17.5 (21" including lace)

Shoulder to pit: 7.5"

Armpit to underarm: 9.5"

Condition:

Exceptional condition for its age. The lace has gone in certain places. It has been carefully hand washed so comes clean and ready to wear.
