A beautiful cape fit for royalty. We believe this came from a museum, though unsure which one exactly. Still very wearable. The velvet is thick and heavy with a gorgeous rich sheen of rusty orange. The back has an intricately hand sewn and heavily embellished panel that is mesmerising to the eye. We believe the interior is silk. A strong and dramatic late 19th century piece, rare to find, and even rarer in a colour such as this. Difficult to let go of, frankly, as we know we may never come across one again.
