Handmade Vintage White Cotton Floral Crochet Bell Sleeve Lace Dress | Made From Old Tablecloth

It was a pleasure to give this vintage tablecloth fabric a new life as unique maxi dress with vintage-inspired beautifully big bell sleeves. The linen is incredibly crisp and clean and almost brand new in appearance, despite having a long, previous life, giving a simple, yet elegant, appearance, and complete with scalloped edges. The highlight of this dress happened by chance - whilst cutting the delicate floral lace, we accidentally created a moon that floats above the sun upon the neckline. We feel this was meant to be, only adding to the bohemian, free-spirited magic of the piece. It would make the perfect festival dress, whilst also just being the perfect all around summer dress. Gorgeously original and completely your own.

A Note on the Collection

Rescued from a life of being sat beneath tea cups, crumbs and plates, we are so happy to present our latest slow-fashion project: taking old vintage tablecloths made from exquisite fabrics and giving them another life in the form of vintage-inspired dresses. The fabrics are sourced by us, then cut, sewn, and stitched with care and pride in our little English home. Every dress has a hand-stitched collar and French seams throughout. Due to the unique nature of the process and the fabrics used, please expect slight variations here and there, which serve to make each dress even more special.
