Rare Vintage 1960s/70s Hettlage Psychedelic Floral Dagger Collar Jacket

DESCRIPTION

How lovely it is to look at something so well made. This is a sensational jacket from the historic German brand Hettlage (founded in 1896), a company widely regarded for their exceptional tailoring skills, and for their insistence on using high quality fabrics and dyes, which is why this jacket still looks so vibrant and alive today. This is real  'Transitional Era' item, straddling both the 1960s and 1970s, with its dagger collar reminiscent of the Mod movement, and its hippie/bohemian psychedelic print. It's a rare little gem that looks as stunning today as it did on the streets of Munich all those many decades ago.

Condition: very good vintage condition. There are two buttons missing (one at the top and one at the bottom) which can be easily replaced by moving buttons from the cuffs to the front. There is some minor fraying to the inside neck lining, but this is entirely hidden when worn.
