This is a beautiful 1950s dark blue lace ball gown decorated with some lovely pearlescent beading across the top of the elegant sleeveless bodice. It's a gorgeous piece of evening wear, and it's wonderful to imagine the many hours that went into crafting this bit of handmade history. The floral overlay is exceptionally pretty, and it's the perfect vintage prom or dinner party dress.

Condition
Lovely vintage condition and very wearable. An area of the hem has come loose by around 4 inches, but this could be tacked back very easily and does not affect wear. The beads are mostly intact; we cannot see any obvious missing areas when worn. Any minor age-related wear is reflected in the price. Has a slight musky smell so could with a dry clean if new owner wishes. As always, please see photographs.
