The Anastasia: Vintage 1970s Gunne Sax Cottagecore Revival Dress

An incredibly special brand, Gunne Sax arrived in 1967 and changed fashion forever. Famous for their cottagecore aesthetic, their designs are instilled with a dreamlike nostalgia. Designer Jessica McClintock's focus was pure and simple: 'romantic'. Gunne Sax pulled this off, and pioneered, in the most dramatic way. Their works are highly desired classics of Americana fashion, and with good reason.

Always paying homage to history, Gunne Sax pieced together multiple eras with this remarkable dress. The Queen Anne revival neckline is a slice of perfection, and the perfectly placed princess cut waist and lace-up front are embedded with elegance and accentuation. She is in lovely condition with no major flaws to note. Looks to have been hand-tacked at the frill of the skirt to shorten her by two inches. This could be let down, but still very long even with the tacking.
