Vintage 1990s Hand-Knitted Mohair Singing in the Rain Jumper | Selina Knitwear

Perfect for the coming autumn and winter months, this is a lovely piece of oversized British artisanal knitwear hand-knitted in Norfolk from a beautifully soft and luxurious cream, red, yellow and black mohair. Selina Knitwear was a cult favourite vintage 1980s–1990s brand who specialised in high-quality jumpers adorned with unusual novelty imagery that very much fits into the whimsical, cottagecore mould.

This jumper is a perfect example of what they were all about, with big, batwing style sleeves and an oversized scene representation from the film Singing in the Rain. Sprawled across the back and shoulders are the words 'What a glorious feeling' sprawled across the back. With lots of opportunities for styling, this handmade beauty could be worn cosily with jeans, or even as an eccentric little mini dress.
