Vintage Tunisian Gafsa-Style Pictorial Rug with Geometric Patterns

An interesting handwoven rug which we believe dates to around the 1960s and likely originates from the Gafsa region of Tunisia. There are ten colourful panels on the rug, with fascinating imagery of humans, animals, and scenery. The colours are exceptional and vibrant, so much so that it would make a lovely decorative wall-piece as well as a rug.
