Breathtaking would be putting it mildly. This antique two-piece is very special, perfectly aligning old romantic with a taste of the gothic. There has been an incredible amount of skilled work gone into this set, including lots of delicate hand stitching, consisting of a peplum-style button-up top with a high-collar and press studs at the waist and neck, and a matching maxi skirt with bow detailing upon the waistband. The top could be worn with the buttons at the front or the back, and each part has been adorned with the most lovely black florals presented in seductive lace. The piece remains immensely entirely wearable, there are endless possibilities for styling this magical antique ensemble across all the seasons.

The Skirt
Waist: up to 26 inches (very fitted)
Length: 37 inches
Condition: As a whole, the set is in remarkable condition given its age. Some seams are coming loose at the waistband and arm, though these could be easily fixed. Does not affect the wear. Some of the trims are a little weakened and the silk lace round the neck has some shattering that is not visible when wearing. The top is lined with a mesh which is in really great condition.
