A lovely and beautifully made bias cut 1930s dress with a broderie anglaise bodice, shaped into a soft sweetheart neckline and waist. She has a waist tie for the an attractive, flattering look, with finely scalloped straps and hem, all exquisitely hand-finished. The inside French seams, still intact, are a sign of astounding 1930s work, showing that it was made properly, and made to persevere. This pretty dress would make a perfect wedding dress, but also just a special piece of history for any woman to cherish, wear, and keep.

Condition
The dress is in excellent condition. All seams are intact. She presents beautifully with no tears or major flaws. There are a few places of slight discolouration, but you have to search to find these (due to location/faintness). One mark on the back which, again, is hidden within the skirt when wearing. There are four pin holes in the back left side. All are pictured.
