We are such big fans of Anokhi, who were one of the earliest pioneers in bringing traditional, ethical, block-printed clothing to the West, spearheading that aspect of bohemian fashion that is still admired and sought-after today. You can imagine how happy we were to come across one of their vintage tablecloths with the original early Anokhi label. The floral print is so beautiful, and it was an honour to spend hours with this fabric, turning into a totally unique mini dress complete with bell sleeves. A very special dress that has crossed generations to continue celebrating handmade, slow-fashion. Perfect for festivals and bright summer days, and you can guarantee there will not be another one like it.

A Note on the Collection

Rescued from a life of being sat beneath tea cups, crumbs and plates, we are so happy to present our latest slow-fashion project: taking old vintage tablecloths made from exquisite fabrics and giving them another life in the form of vintage-inspired dresses. The fabrics are sourced by us, then cut, sewn, and stitched with care and pride in our little English home. Every dress has a hand-stitched collar and French seams throughout. Due to the unique nature of the process and the fabrics used, please expect slight variations here and there, which serve to make each dress even more special.
