Mary Quant of London 1960s Pinstripe Tailored Waistcoat
Details
A very rare piece of fashion history, this 1960s Mary Quant pinstriped waistcoat was part of a collaboration between the American department store J.C. Penney's as part of their Young International Designer Collection. It has a sharp, slightly dandyish shape, with a very low-cut front and cream buttons. Fully lined, it looks lovely over a ruffled blouse, but could be styled with all manner of things for a tailored vintage look. A genuinely unusual and highly wearable piece from the famed and significant British designer.
