Rare Antique Brushed Cotton Pink Striped Bloomers

Almost too good to be true, this is such a beautiful pair of late Victorian/early Edwardian women's bloomers that are in phenomenal antique condition for theor age.  The brushed cotton has been woven with pretty baby-pink and cream stripes, and the wide, cropped legs have been finished with gathered flounces and very pretty scalloped hems. Though originally worn as an undergarment, they make for an eye-catching modern pair of statement trousers/bloomers.

Condition:

Amazing antique condition with one small opening along the front seam and a rust-coloured mark on the upper right thigh. One of the side-fastening buttons is cracked but remains secure and working These small points do not detract from how beautifully the bloomers present or from their wearability.
