Rare Vintage 1970s 'Styled By Sylvan' Batwing Cape Dress

A very, very distinctive and beautiful vintage dress with an overflowing shape drenched in images of floral bouquets. 'Styled by Sylvan' is an obscure brand from the 1960s and 1970s who, in their short time working, managed to produce some wonderful pieces, such as this. Fully-lined and made of nylon, it is long, gorgeous and vibrant and would make a perfect unusual wedding-guest dress, but is also a perfect bohemian gown, too.

Labelled a vintage UK 16, but best for a modern UK 10-12. However, as you can see, it is a versatile piece that could be worn by a smaller size for an even more flowing fit.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall. There is one small hole on the lower front of the dress, which has been photographed. As the dress is lined and the print is so busy, it becomes lost within the fabric and is not particularly noticeable when worn.
