Vintage 1970s Lilac Lace Ruffle Sleeve Prairie Dress | Beauty and the Beast Ballgown
Details
An enchanting little 1970s princess-cut prairie dress in the prettiest pastel shade of lilac. She has a full floor skirt with a gathered flounce around the hem, and the v-neckline and voluminous ruffle sleeves are decorated with delicate ivory lace, including sheer lace panels that give the sleeves their extraordinary shape. Finished with a zip fastening at the back, this dress has a very Gunne Sax feel, whilst also being a princess dress that could have stepped straight from the ballroom scene in Beauty and the Beast. It would make a stunning prom dress, and is the perfection addition to any romantic revival, cottagecore wardrobe.

Labelled a vintage UK 10 and best suited to approximately a modern UK 6–8. It is shown on a 34” bust and 26” waist, where it fits very snugly. Please refer carefully to the measurements above.
Condition:
Really good vintage condition. There is some very slight discolouration beneath the arms, which is difficult to photograph and cannot be seen when worn. One side of the waist seam is pulling slightly and could be reinforced easily enough, but not essential. There is one tiny hole in the very bottom flounce and a few extremely minor marks near the hem, largely concealed in the materials. These areas have been photographed for clarity. An absolutely beautiful prairie piece.
