Vintage 1990s Hand-Knitted Sherlock Holmes Novelty Jumper | Selina Knitwear

Perfect for the coming autumn and winter months, this is a lovely piece of oversized British artisanal knitwear hand-knitted in Norfolk from a beautifully soft and luxurious cream, blue, brown and grey mohair. Selina Knitwear was a cult favourite vintage 1980s–1990s brand who specialised in high-quality jumpers adorned with unusual novelty imagery that very much fits into the whimsical, cottagecore mould.

This jumper is a perfect example of what they were all about, with an oversized image of Sherlock Holmes on Baker Street on the front and back with London in the background. With lots of opportunities for styling, this handmade beauty could be worn cosily with jeans, or even as an eccentric little mini dress.
