Vintage 1960 Brown Bird Bell Sleeve Handmade Festival Mini Dress

Made from a rare vintage material patterned with birds and florals, this is the perfect swinging 60s mini dress in a gorgeous thick cotton with a pretty brown trim all the way round. Though we aren't certain, we would say this has likely been block printed. Due to the handmade process and the rare fabrics used for each individual dress, please allow for some minor variations here and there. In our most humble of opinions, these variations merely serve to highlight the uniqueness and individuality of these creations.

CONDITION

Lovely condition. Few minor age spots and a blue ink stain, though not noticeable when worn. There are a couple of very tiny burn holes on the back and a small hole near the them. Due to thickness of material it has some minor puckering beneath arms, though again, not noticeable when worn.

Rescued from a life of being sat beneath tea cups, crumbs and plates, we are so happy to present our latest slow-fashion project: taking old vintage tablecloths made from exquisite fabrics and giving them another life in the form of vintage-inspired dresses. The fabrics are sourced by us, then cut, sewn, and stitched with care and pride in our little English home. Every dress has a hand-stitched collar and French seams throughout. Due to the unique nature of the process and the fabrics used, please expect slight variations here and there, which serve to make each dress even more special.
